I’ve Been Here a Year!

Welcome to the one-year anniversary of my tenure at The Coaching Chronicles! Can you believe it's been a year already? Wow, how the time and information have flown. It has been a great year writing these posts. I hope you have enjoyed the information that is brought to you weekly by Sandy and me. We both have a deep passion for the nail industry, business development, and mentoring nail technicians. We aspire to have our passion and dedication come through in our words and visions to you each week!

Since this is the one-year anniversary, I want to take a few minutes and thank a few people. First, NAILS Magazine for getting these blog posts out to nail technicians around the world each and every week. I appreciate you giving us the freedom to choose our subjects and say what needs to said to help nail technicians to build their businesses. Judy Lessin at NAILS Magazine: Thank you for taking a shot with Sandy and me and for having faith in The Coaching Chronicles. I enjoy delivering the habits of successful nail technicians through this blog weekly.

I am fortunate to be connected with and mentored by many successful individuals in this industry. Top educators like Michael Cole at Salon Development. Thank you Michael for helping me to become a better speaker, writer, motivator and savvy business owner. Your website salondev.com, seminars, books, and Jump Journals are all tools that I have used to obtain a flourishing business. The Jump Journal is key for tracking my success. How do we know how to get from point A to point B if we don't have a road map? Michael's Jump Journal does just that; it helps me to map out my future. Tracking daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly helps me to achieve my goals one day at a time. Call (800) 334-7198 to order your Jump Journal today and mention that Jill Wilson referred you.

I also have the pleasure of working for Summit Salon Business Center. This is an innovative consulting group that has transformed my business professionally and personally. SSBC has systems committed to keeping the independent salon alive. They offer seminars and programs to teach owners and managers to manage their salons and promote growth. They work one on one with salon owners and staff to make salons become profitable. I love consulting for this company! Sandy Combs: You were the top choice on my list when asked to write for The Coaching Chronicles. Your dedication to nails technically and professionally is remarkable. I knew when I asked you to write with me you would be honest and forthcoming about your nail business. I knew you would share your wins and shortcoming openly with our readers. I knew they would relate to you, your struggles, your achievements, and your sense of humor. I am elated that you are "passing it on" to Rachel and our readers each week. You really get that it's all about sharing and helping others to succeed. Thanks for your commentary, stats, and encouragement for The Coaching Chronicles followers.

I have enjoying reading your comments and meeting you when out in the world traveling. Where do you want to go from here? Help me to help you. What do you want to get out of The Coaching Chronicles?
