China Glaze’s fall 2012 nail lacquer collection, On Safari, was used at the Fall 2012 Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week as models showcased their perfectly polished manicures alongside the garments of top designers. The shades were hand-selected by the designers and their beauty teams to be featured on the runway.

The American contemporary line Porter Grey selected China Glaze Prey Tell to be applied to the nails of each model for their presentation. The bold burgundy shade complemented the gorgeous fabrics and leathers in the collection.

A blend of China Glaze Call of the Wild and Heart of Africa was selected for the manicures at the Tadashi Shoji show. The shades accentuated the bold red lips and elaborate, romantic gowns for which Tadashi Shoji is known.

The China Glaze team for the Porter Grey and Tadashi Shoji shows consisted of manicurists Josephine More and Joy Johnson and assistants, Andrea Berrios, Angel Williams, and Alison Norris. Along with the polish of choice from the designers, the manicurists came prepared with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat, China Glaze Orange Cuticle Oil, and China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat to ensure long-lasting, glossy nails.
