Beauty for Good: SpaRitual Introduces Soil 2012 Nail Lacquer Duo

by NAILS Magazine | March 29, 2012 | Bookmark +

SpaRitual’s Soil 2012 limited-edition lacquer duo donates 20% of its proceeds to the socio/environmental non-profit group Sustainable Organic Integrated Livelihoods (SOIL) located on the isle of Haiti. In time for Earth Day, the Soil Lacquer Duo is a poetic reminder of earth’s precious resources and how vital they are for sustaining life.

Each Soil Duo is elegantly packaged in gift box along with a packet of wildflower seeds and an accompanying poem by SpaRitual founder Shel Pink to encourage eco-consciousness throughout the year. Back to Your Roots, a shimmering deep rusty brown, and Native Soil, a light cream, are earthy yet chic shades inspired by Mother Nature.

By partnering with SOIL, SpaRitual is aiding communities desperately in need of renewal and growth. “We’re honored to be involved with the SOIL organization and to support the foundation’s efforts to help provide agricultural and economic resources to Haiti,” says Pink.

Co-founded by Dr. Sasha Kramer, SOIL is a non-profit organization that promotes integrated approaches to the problems of poverty, poor public health, agricultural productivity, and environmental destruction. It works to nurture collective creativity through developing collaborative relationships between community organizations in Haiti and academics and activists internationally.
