Blueprint of a First Year

Meeting Our New Neighbor

The new holistic dog food company who moved in next door a few weeks ago was having an open house so all three of us thought it would be fruitful to be there.

So far Saturdays have been dead, mainly because we're in an industrial plaza that has storefronts and warehouses where most do business Monday through Friday. It's fine by me. I would rather build business during the week anyway.

The activity at the open house next door attracted the attention of people driving by, and we had a few walk-ins (in addition to what Kim and I had on the books). At the end of the day we collectively made over $500! We know in our hearts we are going to be successful because were building a brand that is unique, but, still, you always worry.
