Blueprint of a First Year

Back from Premiere to a Salon Full of Clients

I attended the Premiere Show in Orlando and had some travel commitments for the rest of the week, so I was out of the salon for an entire week. (The photo is of me on the left with nail tech Jessica Hoel at Premiere.) I returned to a slammed day with clients.

Natalie and Kim were there all day and the salon was abuzz! It felt good. What felt even better was to be excited to go to the salon. When I walked in, it was the first time I felt that the salon was not in total "work in pogress" mode. We have accomplished a lot in the last month or so to bring the salon together. We still have to build the pedi platform, do the plumbing, hook up the chandeliers to the electrical, get real mani desks built, get client chairs and stools for us, plus a few other minor things, but then we will be close to being finished.

Kim finished the striping on the wall. (It was not complete because the original plan was to put a wall in.) We hung crystals from the ceiling (feng shui), and we still have to put the silver glaze on the white on the back wall. But it sure feels good, comfortable, and almost complete.
