Cosmoprof NA: Harmony, AII Win Sally Beauty Awards

Sally Beauty Supply knows that keeping its 2,500+ stores well-stocked with innovative beauty products is just one piece of the puzzle of satisfying the “beauty junkie.” The necessary coordination behind the scenes between Sally and its vendors is significant, and once a year, Sally Beauty Company recognizes vendors who go above and beyond. The award is called the Sally Beauty Supply Partners in Progress Award, and this year the award for the nail category was split between American International (AII), maker of China Glaze, Seche Vite, Nail Tek, among many other brands, and Hand & Nail Harmony, the manufacturer of Gelish. 

AII VP/Sales Mark Moesta (center) had some wisecracks about the “demands” of working with Sally, and accepted the award for Partners in Progress from Linda Voracek, Group VP/ Merchandising, Sally Beauty Supply and Mike Spinozzi, President, Sally Beauty Supply. This was the 3rd time that AII has been honored. 

In its first year on the shelves, Gelish broke records for Sally Beauty Supply and was honored with the beauty store giant’s Partners in Progress Awards. The Partners in Progress award comes with a beautiful two-foot crystal vase (held by Harmony president Danny Haile), who shares the spotlight with his team (from left) Spinozzi, David Daniel, Gari-Dawn Tingler, and Voracek
