Nail Art-ready for the Paralympics

The Summer Olympic Games may have come and gone, but that’s no reason to stop the cheering. The Paralympic Games will take place August 29th through September 9th, using many of the same venues as the Summer Olympics in London. There is no limit to the drive and determination of these world-class athletes competing in 21 different sports. And lucky for you, your Olympics-inspired nail art designs can still hold a spot atop your salon's podium.

To help you celebrate and cheer on your favorites, here are some fun Olympic nail art ideas:

Cam Linh Sukie Điều from Nails by Sukie in Carmel, Ind. created these fun flag designs on her client Tanya Baker.

Nancy Som and Juliet Ansotigue from Dipped Nails in Redondo Beach, Calif. created these on a client whose older sister competed for Team USA in volleyball.

Check out NAILS Magazine's round-up of nail art worn by Olympic athletes from different countries and nail art inspired by them: Nail Art Gets An Olympic Gold

I'll be rooting for judo Paralympian Jordan Mouton who is the focus of her own six-part video series, Blind Judoka.

Let the games begin!
