ISSE 2013: $250,000 Polish with a Security Guard

So the $250,000 bottle of polish doesn't come with an insurance rider (that I know of), but it does have a body guard at ISSE Long Beach.


Yes, the Azature "Black Diamond" polish that contains 267-karats of black diamonds is at the tradeshow, safely inside a case. If you don't have the money to purchase it (actually, rumor has it someone has already put it on hold), there is a show special on the jeweler's other nail polishes.

Normally $25, the show special is $20 a bottle for any of the Azature's seven polish shades, each of which is named after a diamond and has one black diamond placed by hand in the bottle. "We individually place the black diamond into every bottle, so it's given the same quality and attentiveness as our jewelry," owner Azature Pogosian told me.

I tried the color "champagne," which is super sparkly and picked up a bottle of an emerald shade to take home with me.
