Fashion Week: Get the CND Graffiti Nails Look

by NAILS Magazine | February 25, 2013 | Bookmark +

The graffiti look is a hot nail trend, and CND exemplified it during Fashion Week by incorporating three different graffiti styles at the Creatures of The Wind show during Fashion Week. The CND team used a detail brush to create the looks, but the company says an Ultra Fine Point Sharpie could also be used.

To get the look:

1. Apply CND Shellac in Impossibly Plush vertically to one-third of the nail.
2. Apply CND Shellac in Electric Orange vertically to the rest of the nail.

3. Use a detail brush and CND Shellac in Blue Rapture to create waves on top of the orange side of the nail. Repeat with CND Shellac in Seaside Party. Repeat with CND Shellac in Faux Fur.

Other color combos to try include mixing together Shellac in Cityscape and Shellac in Asphalt, then using Shellac in Svelte Suede down one-third of the nail. Add graffiti waves of brown, orange, and blue. Or use Shellac in Studio White with Shellac in Cityscape down one-third of the nail. Add graffiti waves of teal, brown, orange, and blue.
