Special Edition Gelish Collections Featured at Beautyworld Japan

From May 13 to 16, Gelish featured two new special edition collections made exclusively for the Asian market at Beautyworld Japan, the largest beauty and spa tradeshow in Tokyo.

Official Japanese Gelish distributor Nails Unique welcomed guests to a brightly lit booth displaying the company’s most recent Minnie Mouse collection. A red and white polka-dotted setting reflected the collection’s packaging.

“The line at the Gelish Disney booth was out the door and everyone was so excited,” says Danny Haile, CEO and founder of Gelish. “I loved talking to all of the guests and hearing their feedback.”

Peanuts character Belle (Snoopy’s sister) is the face of Gelish’s other new collection. A staff of nail technicians and Belle herself greeted booth attendees.

“The Japanese market adores both Peanuts and Disney, so by combining their love of both animated families, along with their love of all things gel and manicure, we knew we had a huge hit on our hands,” says Haile.

Beautyworld Japan attendees also received a sneak peak at the Morgan Taylor Nail Lacquer collection for the very first time.

“The collection was very well-received by the attendees,” says Haile. “Because the Japanese market is very aware of high-quality products, they can truly appreciate the time, effort, and ingredients that went into creating the line.”
