We have now read chapter two of our book club book. My thoughts were to have a discussion of sorts by offering some questions for you to answer. Each of us will have a different perspective, so in coming back to read the answers, we can get more out of what we're reading. Sound good?
The first book we're reading for those just coming on board is Doug Schoon's "Nail Structure and Product Chemistry," and we're going for one chapter every other week to give us all the time to fit some reading into our busy schedules. Chapter 2 Questions:
-What is one thing you learned from this chapter that you didn't already know?
-How do nails get oxygen? Do they need to breathe?
-Why do some people have thin nails? Can't they just eat more salt or calcium to make them grow?
-What diffuses 1,000 times faster through the nail plate than the skin, and what does that mean?
