Nail Salon Dramedy in the Works

by NAILS Magazine | December 26, 2013 | Bookmark +

It's about time for a television show set in a nail salon, right? Actors Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are teaming up to produce a half-hour HBO show set in a Florida-based nail salon. Called "Claws," the show is described as a "midnight-dark workplace dramedy-noir" about the salon's strange and dangerous employees, according to Deadline.com. "Claws" is currently in development, so keep your fingers crossed it will move forward to pilot.

Jones is most recognized for her past roles in television shows "Parks and Recreation" and "The Office."

Jones and McCormack have worked together before, co-writing "Celeste and Jesse Forever," a romantic comedy-drama starring Jones and Andy Samberg. McCormack tweeted this photo during the film's premiere last year.
