Week 20: Home Stretch

Wrapping up the last of my required procedures, connecting with nail pros, and pre-filing for state board sums up my week!

I am officially done with my required procedures in school, and I am so ready to move to the next phase. I have been reaching out to nail pros, looking for a mentor/advice. I did chat online with Athena Elliott , whom I hope to get together with soon. I’m very excited to use my new skills and work on my business plan for my own salon.

This week I worked on Shellac, Brisa Lite Gel, and acrylic. My favorite was the acrylic set I did for my very close friend who is a colon cancer survivor. This month is colon cancer awareness and the Undy 5000 walk — Go Team Rump Shakers! I used Deep Blue additives from CND and some going to create a ribbon.

I ended my week with pre-filing for state board. I can't wait to receive my notice. I’m off to review my Milady book!
