Gloria Williams (aka The Footnanny) is known for being Oprah’s nail tech (you can read more about her here, but soon you might know her for a whole lot more.

Celebrities and industry insiders toasted Williams last night at Bugatta Supper Club as she had her branding launch party. Jessica Cosmetics was the major sponsor of the evening, sending guests home with the Go For the Gold polish collection. O So Dollish Polish made a surprise appearance in the goodie bags of five lucky guests. Celebrities in attendance included Jay Rose, Judyann Elder, Anna Maria Horsford, and Kim Coles. Celebrity nail tech Melissa Bozant  was also in attendance, posing alongside the school director of Marinello Inglewood, Lakhysa Greene.

Since Williams’ Footnanny launch was all about wellness beyond a pedicure, foot massages were offered to guests courtesy of Marinello students. Greene explained that this event allowed students to practice what they’ve learned in beauty school and apply it to the real world, perfecting their interpersonal skills.

Williams announced her new website will be launching June 1. Footnanny partnerships will be available for retail and nail tech training. I even walked away from the event with Williams’ Peppermint Foot Cream. Certainly more than just a celebrity nail tech, Williams recently moved from Chicago to L.A. to expand her business and can be found at the Anastasia Beverly Hills. Stay tuned for her site’s launch to learn more.
