Nail Polish Aims to Stop Distracted Driving

by Sigourney Nuñez | December 12, 2014 | Bookmark +

In an attempt to prevent teens from texting while driving, Sinful Colors, a consumer nail polish brand, released a new shade called No Text Red. To further promote the message behind the color, the company is asking fans to paint their thumbnails red as a reminder to drive safely. In 2013 more than 3,000 teen deaths and 300,000 injuries occurred because of texting while driving, according to the brand’s campaign page on its website.

To share your thoughts and photos on social media about the campaign, make sure to use the hashtag #notextred. For more information on the initiative or to purchase the new shade, click here
