It was a gloomy day yesterday at the Golden Globes. Despite the drizzle, not every celeb opted for gloves like Amal Clooney, giving us a chance to see the first red carpet nails of Awards Season in all their glory. While it should go without saying that nude nails are very common on the red carpet, we were happily surprised to see glimpses of metallic and underside nail art.
Metallics always look luxe. This is one dress trend that translated to nails at last night’s Globes.

But perhaps the biggest stunner of the Globes red carpet was JLo. The actress shined bright in a revealing metallic dress that included metallic pink tips from Tom Bachik. The big reveal came when Bachik showed us the blingy underside of her nails — a definite scene stealer! Stay tuned for more underside nail art in the March issue of NAILS.
