This summer, introduce a pop of color to client’s who love subtle nails. Follow these steps from NYC-based nail tech and creator of International Nail Art Day, Mimi Wilson to see how she incorporated a spectrum of neon shades over a nude base.
1. Polish two coats of a full-coverage nude shade.
2. Use a dotting tool to add dots in a random color order, making sure to align them down the center of the nails.
3. Swirl the colors together using a dotting tool. If the dots become dry before you start the swirl, add a bit of clear polish over the neon colors to wet them again.
4. Once the swirled shades are dry, finish the look with top coat.
Optional step: You can add your own personal touch to this look by adding studs, glitter polish, or a matte top coat.
