by Sigourney Nuñez | August 3, 2015 | Bookmark +

On Saturday, nail techs and nail art enthusiasts alike celebrated International Nail Art Day (first Saturday of August). The holiday was created by New York-based nail tech Mimi Wilson in 2013.

To celebrate the occasion, Wilson and nail techs Mimi Montague and Shelly Burns, hosted a scavenger hunt across New York City to find nail goodies sponsored by Color Club.

The entire event was broadcasted live on NAILS Magazine Snapchat. Click here to see the video.

Next year, Wilson hopes to take the Finders Keepers game to a different city and hopes nail art fans will unite by wearing the same design that day.

The INAD scavenger hunt was promoted on social media and even caught the attention of Instagramers Sonia Domingues (@badgirlnails) and Amy Tran (@amyytran).
