NYFW: butter LONDON for Monse and Nicole Miller

by Staff | September 14, 2015 | Bookmark +

Katie Jane Hughes used butter LONDON Patent Shine 10x Nail Lacquer in Shop Girl for MONSE Maison. This new fashion line is the brainchild of Oscar de la Renta alums Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia. A new fashion label called for nails that gave off an equally clean slate.

At Nicole Miller, Hughes stepped it up a bit by playing off the street art-inspired clothing in the collection. Hughes predicts black nails and edgy details will be a trend for spring, so this nail look broke all the seasonal rules. To get the look, apply two coats of butter LONDON Cotton Buds. Dip a bobby pin into Union Jack Black. Position the bobby pin over the nail and blow through the middle to create a splatter effect on each nail. Repeat the process in Easy Peasy (new color launching in April 2016) on various nails. Finish with a top coat and you’re runway-ready!
