NYFW: CND for Libertine S/S 2016

by Beth Livesay | September 15, 2015 | Bookmark +

CND presented a collection of abstract graphic nail designs at Libertine’s Spring/Summer 2016 show at Skylight Clarkson Square in New York. Inspired by German artist Blinky Palermo, the clothing and nails featured neat, colorful, precise patterns. The bold yet tidy nail looks were hand-painted with Shellac and Vinylux in shades of yellow, pink, blue, orange, and green. Four looks were scattered on each model’s nails for an overall vibe of organized chaos. Dual-toned color blocks, checkerboards, “Bad Penny,” and mirrored glass-cut embellished nails all added refinement to Johnson Hartig’s loud and fun collection.
