OPI Creates Limited Edition Barcelona Collection

by Beth Livesay | November 8, 2016 | Bookmark +

OPI is known for its worldwide-inspired polish collections. To celebrate the brand's parent company Coty at the Wella Trend Vision Awards in Barcelona, OPI created a special six piece collection with names and colors honoring the beachside Spanish city. Co-founder Suzi Weiss-Fischmann looked to the city's architecture, food, and colors in the surrounding city when concepting this collection. Colors include: Did Someone Say Futbol?, He Gave Me the Medieval Eye, Go for the Rojo, Besa Me Mucho, Sagrada Cantata, and the Dali Special.  Fischmann joked that when putting the collection together she looked for colors that didn't look "too Gaudi" (a play on Spanish architect Gaudi's name and "gaudy"). These Infinite Shine colors along with base and top coats were gifted to media attendees at the Coty Professional event.
