It was a great week. It went by fast but I was able to enjoy every moment. Monday arrived and to my surprise, I had no clients, so I worked on our daily activity sheet and completed three hard gel overlays and five sculpted nails. I wanted to try some new stuff that the NAILS Magazine team was kind enough to send, so I used the magnetic cat eye polish on one nail, and attempted to make a 3-D heart using hard gel.

Our class day was our first test in “Salon Success,” the next part of our book work. I passed with another A, so that felt good. After that, we moved right on to fantasy nails; We got a late start so I only got three done and I didn’t get to add the color I wanted because we ran out of time. Regardless, I loved it! Remember my Halloween nail art? I just tried to make it 3-D, pretty neat.

On Thursday, I had the opportunity to pamper a lovely elderly woman who deserved a day of relaxation. We started the service out with a spa pedicure, scrub, mask and all; and finished with a gel mani. She loves glitter and had a party she would be attending this weekend so of course, I added a bit of glitter to all of the fingers. My favorite part was listening to her stories. She was so interesting and full of wisdom.

I love this glittery gel-polish.

I’m truly blessed to be in the situation I’m in right now. Although some days are harder than others, I don’t regret making this change in my life at all! To see how happy I’ve made some people, just by making them feel good and giving them beautiful nails and toenails makes my heart smile! Keep spreading JoLove guys, make this world a better place, and put some smiles on peoples faces!

Until next time,

Jojo
