LeChat international educator Anastasiia Morozova created this nautical star design using Perfect Match Spectra, a holographic pigment that creates an intense solar flare effect in direct light.
1. Prep nail for gel-polish application. Apply one coat of Perfect Match Ultra-Thin Varnish Base Gel and cure for 30 seconds in an LED/UV lamp. Apply one coat of Perfect Match Spectra in Kaleidoscope, then cure and repeat for full coverage.
2. Paint a five-point star in the middle of the nail with Perfect Match Black Velvet using the new LeChat Dual Sided Tool Liner & Dotting Brush. Paint another five-point star with longer points on top of that, then cure.
3. Connect each of the points. Then draw two triangles from the corner tips of the nail with lines in the middle pointed inward toward the big star’s corner. Draw another triangle at an angle from the bottom pointed inward toward the big star’s corner. Cure.
4. Paint every other panel of the star and outside triangles. Cure. Apply Perfect Match High Gloss Gel Top Sealer and cure.
