Elizabeth Faubion demonstrates how to do Icy Snowflake nail art.

1. Apply a clear base coat. Apply dark blue polish to the top half of the nail at an angle and a lighter blue to the bottom half at the opposite angle.

2. Apply a thin line of a third lighter blue color across the center.

3. Using white polish, create a large X in the center of the nail. Paint a vertical line down the X to create a star shape.

4. Add arrows and smaller lines to the ends and middle of the original lines to complete the snowflake. Finish with a top coat.
