The Kansas City Nail Artist Retreat

Designed exclusively for licensed technicians, this inaugural educational retreat will promote continued professional development among salon personnel as attendees undergo two days of in-depth refresher courses on natural nail care and specialized designer nail art techniques. Besides the intensive but fun and unique classes coupled with hands-on learning, the event will feature instruction and presentations from nationally-acclaimed beauty professionals such as Maisie Dunbar, celebrity beauty professional and president of the award winning Maisie Dunbar Spa Lounge and BluffaJo Cosmetics and Julie Kandalec, master nail artist seen recently on TLC’s What Not to Wear. Other activities include a “Nails in the City” Cocktail Hour, and a competition for nail professionals to be judged by industry vets.
