NAILS editor Hannah Lee (seen here flanked by Vu and Robert Nguyen) rubbed elbows with OPI’s most innovative nail artists.

In December, OPI hosted an intensive Artistic Design Preview with its global artists and invited guests at Siren Studios in Hollywood, Calif. After spending two full days brainstorming new nail art ideas and inspiring each other, the global team from OPI — which included brothers Vu and Robert Nguyen, The Illustrated Nail’s Sophie Harris-Greenslade, Canada’s Danny Phung and Chelsea Baart, Christy Graham, Kesha Scales, Adela Munoz, and Japan’s Tomoka Dei — presented some of their creations to select members of the media.

The looks were photographed and videotaped and will be coming to OPI educational events this year. Inspired by the polish giant’s next collection, Hawaii, the looks were created with OPI Nail Lacquer and OPI GelColor, as well as a variety of embellishments.
