The 10 weeks of NAILS Next Top Nail Artist Season 5 have taken nail art to new levels. This year’s challenges have called on contestants to create runway-fashion-inspired designs, take nails to (negative) space, grow avant-garde gardens, build thrilling theme parks on nail tips, and more. Florida’s Halley Fortenberry and Valerie Ducharme of Quebec, Canada, both won multiple challenges and secured their spots in the Top 3.
To decide the last finalist, Ashton Harlan, winner of the first challenge of the season, went up against week 7 winner Hemi Park in CND’s Last Chance Design Lab. Harlan earned her place in the Top 3 when CND co-founder Jan Arnold chose Park as the final Last Chance champion.
