With nude polishes, it's not about matching the polish to the skin tone, but rather focusing on choosing a shade with the right undertone.

According to Redbook Mag's November 2012 "Beauty Tricks," clients with fair skin should go for a soft, slightly rose beige such as OPI's Samoan Sand.

If a client has olive skin, try warm tan colors like Essie's Brooch the Subject. For darker skin, do a rich camel like CND's Desert Suede.
