Steampunk is a genre within science fiction that utilizes steam-powered machinery. Inspired by industrialized, Western civilization during the 19th century, this trend is a retro-futuristic one. For this week’s challenge, we asked our Top 6 to create a steampunk design on one hand (on a model) using any materials they’d like. They will receive bonus points for using out-of-the-box (non-nail) materials.
In addition, we asked them to create a short video showing us how they created the nails along with the inspiration behind them.
Week 7’s challenge winner will receive an assortment of It’s So Easy nail art products including stripers, embellishments, glitter, foils, and brushes. (Approximate value: $500)
