Now that you’ve seen what the NAILS Next Top Nail Artist Top 12 contestants have come up with for their first weekly challenge, it’s your turn!

We want to see what your caption is. All you have to do is follow the same rules the competitors did and upload your finished photo to your preferred social media account (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) and make sure to use the hashtags: #GelishPlayAtHome and #NAILSNTNA. On Monday, September 15, we’ll select our favorite designs and Sandy Combs from Gelish will pick a winner. Each weekly Play@Home winner will receive a prize from Gelish.

OK…so here are the challenge instructions:

Young Nails recently launched a new long-lasting polish called Caption. As a tribute to this new line, we want you to identify your own personal motto/caption (like Young Nails’ “It’s All About You.”) and illustrate it on a mural of 10 nail tips (not on actual hands).

We want to see your caption as actual text on the mural, as well as a design that is inspired by the concept of your caption. (For example, my motto might be “Music soothes my soul.”…so I would make sure that the words were written somewhere on the nails, as well as an artistic interpretation of the motto on the mural.)

You can use polish, gel-polish, and acrylic paints, but remember this is a handpainted only challenge. No 3-D embellishments are allowed on this challenge.
