CND head judge Jan Arnold said, “Whoohooo Tracy’s back! Perfection from the story, the piano, the shading, the artistry, the Van Gogh painting, the sheer magic of YOU! Such a delight to behold this week! Thank you!”

NAILS senior art director Danielle Parisi said, “You are back at the top of your game with this week’s challenge! I love how you explain you are a type A personality, but your design seems so free flowing and full of passion and spirit. I like that you can tell just by looking at your nails what inspires you. Gorgeous display of your artistic abilities. Keep it up!  Fantastic job!”

NAILS senior editor Beth Livesay said, “The intro to your video is so great! Can we borrow it? The piano solo is lovely and tells us so much about you as an artist. The sculpted car and piano are both amazing! Combining personal and general concepts of art make for a piece that we can all relate to. The quotes you chose to reference are so fitting. I liked the tip about body heat and acrylic too. Well done!”

NAILS associate editor Sigourney Nunez said, “Super into the wet-on-wet technique. Wow! I couldn’t believe the frame was made out of gel!”

Tracy will receive a prize pack from Artistic (approximate value: $500) and the opportunity to be featured in Artistic Life (priceless!)

The nail tech who is packing up her paintbrushes this week is … Dana Cecil. Dana has proven she will never give up, and in doing so has pushed her artistic abilities week after week. Her energy and playfulness will continue to inspire everyone at NTNA.

This won’t be the last you hear from Dana. She will move on to CND’s Last Chance Design Lab where she’ll have one last chance to stay in the competition. Check back next Friday to see who will move on in our Last Chance battle — Trisha or Dana.

Tune in Monday to find out the next challenge and vote for your favorites! Good luck to our remaining six competitors.
