Timeless Treasure: Who Won and Who’s Packing Up Their Brushes

Congratulations to Jonny Diep Pham for winning this week’s challenge! The judges truly treasured his artwork and storytelling.

Guest judge Alena Clark of Gel II said, “The clock detail was impeccable. The tree with the leaves was beautifully done. Great job at explaining and showcasing your timeless treasure!”

Season 3 champion Winnie Huang said, “Amazing! While I do wish that you ventured a little out of your comfort zone, I am absolutely in love with your craftsmanship!”

CND head judge Jan Arnold said, “Gorgeous story, precision, crop, detail, narrative, and video. Wow! Your brilliance is in your ability to tell your story simply and clearly.”

NAILS associate art director Yuiko Sugino said, “Beautiful composition; all tips work together nicely. Love the brushwork on the box – amazing brush control. Tedious but incredible work on the leaves. I really appreciate your patience and effort. I can’t get over how intricate and detailed everything is.”

NAILS senior art director Danielle Parisi said, “Your nails this week can be described as stunningly simple with intricate design detail. Your treasure chest looks real! Week after week, I love how your artistry shines through. Great video compilation. I love seeing your techniques and your nail designs come alive!”

The nail tech who is packing up her paintbrushes this week is … Liza Waitzman. Liza’s personality is a treat to everyone at NTNA. She will always be regarded as a stunning hand painter and we know she is as driven as she is talented.
