CND is all about being on the cutting edge of fashion and technology. The 2016 Met Ball theme and art exhibit, Manus x Machina, echoed this sentiment. The theme is all about combining handcrafted and machine-made processes to create works of art. For the final challenge of Season 4 we want to see nail art that utilizes both handmade and machine-made processes (think 3-D printing, etc.) to make high-fashion nail art.
CND’s Jan Arnold has taken inspiration from the Manus x Machina book and exhibit and selected points of inspiration to help the Top 3 create their nails. The final challenge will take place in six parts, each consisting of 10 nail tips. Contestants can use whatever items necessary to complete their design, including unconventional materials.
