Congratulations to Valerie Ducharme on her third win of the season! Her Dali-inspired design showed off both e-file and acrylic mastery.
Guest judge Elaine Watson said, “I love the education on color mixing the Triptych colors. It was brilliant to make more colors out of what you had to work with! The nails are totally what I was craving. Thank you! They are strange, beautiful, and surreal. A shorter description would be my only suggestion, but I loved the story you told.”
Head judge Jan Arnold said, “You taught the basics, but your artistry is incredibly advanced. I’m craving more of your secrets for next time!”
NAILS art director Yuiko Sugino said, “Valerie makes sculpting look so easy. I love the pyramid and the dimensions throughout. Great explanation of the color wheel.”

Valerie will be receiving the remainder of KUPA’s Triptych collection valued at approximately $500!
The nail tech who is packing up her paintbrushes this week is… Dana Cecil. Dana has been part of the NTNA family for two seasons in a row and it won’t be the same without her teaching and cheerleading.
But this won’t be the last you hear from Dana. She will move on to CND’s Last Chance Design Lab where she’ll have one last chance to stay in the competition. Check back Friday to see who will move on in our Last Chance battle — Dana or Liza.
Tune in Monday to see the results of the EzFlow challenge and vote for your favorites! Good luck to the Top 4!
