Nails on Point: The Top 3

Challenge 10, sponsored by Wildflowers, asked the Top 3 to create a Pointillist mural on five nail tips using Holographic Glitter only. This week’s guest judge was Lauren Wireman of Wildflowers Nails.

Since there are only three competitors left, we aren’t announcing the top and bottom results until tomorrow. But you can read below for the judges’ comments on all three finalists.

Halley: Your design was original and true to you. The judges praised the gradient of the glitter and your ability to work with precision of placement. The flatness of the canvas is called into question, but there’s no doubt this meticulous work of art is beautiful. Your videos have also improved in terms of tightness of shots and voice intonation. Congratulations on making it so far and all you have achieved!

Hemi: Your video, as per usual, impressed the judges. It was full of tips and showed the process of your work nicely. The color choice for the overall design, however, is too dark. Silver or gold glitters would have popped the design even more. Your story this week was an emotional one and the judges want you to know that they admire your commitment and passion for nails.

Valerie: Your theme may have been chaos, but the color choice and carving of the tips show nothing but incredible patience and skill. Your tutorial was full of amazing tips as well. The overall design is absolutely stunning!
