A vertical ombré look that mimicked the ocean meeting the horizon was used at Charlotte Ronson. Color Club’s Take Me to Your Chateau, Gossip Column, and Sea Side Surf ( a custom color) made up this beachy look.
Gelish educator Rose Valez used Gelish colors and Hand & Nail Harmony striping brush to create the tips that featured the Candy Land Collection.
At the Case-Mate ShowCase, model Brie Harding wore Gelish Cashmere Kind of Gal and Sheek White with tiny mirrors glued on to reflect the Art Deco direction Cesar Galindo had chosen.
Sally Hansen collaborated with Tracy Reese for the 14th consecutive season. A unique triangular half-moon manicure featuring four different combinations fit right in for Reese’s colorful show. Combinations used on the runway included: Soy Latte/Butterscotch, Naked Ambition/Midnight in NY, Blue Me Away/Mint Sorbet, and Kook-A-Mango/Butterscotch.
Color blocking of Essie’s Chinchilly and Brooch the Subject paired well with Phillip Lim’s cut-up collection.
Priti NYC Polish’s White Ballet Dahlia blended into Horned Poppy added a punch of color to these otherwise barely there nails.

Ultra feminine looks were at the heart of Zac Posen’s collection. Essie’s First Base, Not Just a Pretty Face, and Good to Go kept nails neutral yet beautiful.
Essie in First Base, Marshmallow, Good to Go, and Blanc provided the perfect icy touch to Wes Gordon’s hip collection inspired by Tarot cards.
Essie’s First Base, Fed Up, and Good to Go embodied the sweetness of Tory Burch’s collection.
Essie in First Base, Blanc, Canyon Coral, and Good to Go were the perfect palette against Rachel Roy’s collection of dreamy and emotional prints.
Jenny Packham’s glittery gowns and dresses were capped off with Essie’s sparkler, Pure Pearlfection over Waltz and Marshmallow.
Essie in First Base, BBF Best Boyfriend, and Good to Go were the perfect complements to Herve Leger’s geometric patterned dresses.

In a show full of colorful caftans and flowy dresses, nails remained on the lighter side. Essie in First Base, Allure, Van D’Go, and Good to Go topped off the model’s nails.
Essie’s Sensitivity, Fed Up, and Good to Go were the polishes of choice at DKNY’s show.
Clothing that is all about structure and inspired by the crisp shapes of the 1960s appeared at Creatures of the Wind. Essie’s First Base, Topless & Barefoot, and Matte About You were the colors of choice for these fashionable creatures.
Essie in First Base, Minimalistic, and Good to Go graced the tips of models at Costello Tagliapietra. The neutral nails were perfect with the printed and draped dresses that flowed down the runway.
With all the chrome yellow and shocking pink, Essie’s First Base, Mademoiselle, and Good to Go were the go-to shades at the Chado Ralph Rucci show.
Models wore Essie First Base, Adore-a-Ball, and Good to Go. These nails went well with Herrera’s icy blues, oranges, and faint yellows.
These “modern medieval” manicures were custom-made by CND with a blended peach base and strips of polish hand-woven into the nail for a play on texture and finish.

Shimmering nails in new CND Grapefruit Sparkle shimmered like ballerina slippers on the runway. These nails played up the chiffons, watercolor florals, and pastel lilac prints at Christian Siriano.

A black and white collection punctuated with a bit of pastel made the fairy dust manicure at Behnaz Sarafpour perfectly appropriate. This whimsical look is created by using CNDAdditives in Spectrum Shimmer and Antique Bronze over CND Air Dry Top Coat. The result is a prismatic glitter fade that complements this delicate, nymph-inspired collection.

Models at the Tadashi Shoji show wore China Glaze Nude and Innocence. Lead manicurist Joy Johnson and her assistants Alison Norris, Bernie Clark, and Gina Hicks applied China Glaze Fast Freeze Quick Dry Spray and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat to ensure quick, smudge-free nails.
Light and nude nails ruled the New York runways. These colors served as the perfect backdrop for vibrant colored clothing. Pops of nail art and metallic also made appearances on the catwalks to play up sunnier looks. Photos where a city isn’t identified were taken during New York Fashion Week.
