Nail Trends From the Spring 2014 Fashion Week Runways

Nail Veils made its Fashion Week debut appearing at the Anya Calliendo show along with Patricia Couture Nail Lacquer.

Custom colors and mattes were used by Zoya to create dark nails for the Zang Toi show.

Hula Girl Rose by Priti NYC popped against the colorful clothing at Yuna Yang.

Blush Noisette by Priti NYC was all that was needed for the Tommy Hilfiger collection.

With a pop of color in their hair, models went subtle when it came to nails at the Tia Cibani show. Priti NYC supplied the lacquer in Mushroom Flower.

The nail look at The Row was all natural, as designers Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen opted for buffing and Almond Cuticle Oil only from Priti NYC.

Morgan Taylor Adorned in Diamonds added a subtle shimmer to the nails at Thakoon.

12 year old Alanna Wall created these embellished nails using Orly for the Raul Peneranda show.

CND revealed four unique nail designs at the Michael van der Ham Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Show at Hotel Café Royal in London for LFW.

OPI joined Reem Acra for the designer’s Spring 2014 presentation at Lincoln Center. The models’ intricate and complex hair was balanced by fresh and clean makeup and nails, which were polished with You Callin’ Me a Lyre? for an overall look evoking 70s glam.

OPI joined Joanna Mastroianni at Lincoln Center for her Spring 2014 runway show, where the designer unveiled a colorful look featuring the bright yellow shade Need Sunglasses? on models’ fingers and toes. Mastroianni selected the nail lacquer to complement her bold-hued long dresses in striking tangerine, yellow and aquamarine shades inspired by Gaudi’s architecture.

Jeremy Laing's collection featured sheer fabrics and a summery, 90′s vibe, the line was complemented by sheer gray fingers and toes lacquered with OPI My Pointe Exactly.

Jamberry Nails participated in Christine Alcalay‘s NYFW presentation for the second year in a row. Designs the fashion house favored included Reminisce, Delicate Rose, and Snakeskin.

Helmut Lang's collection was full of sheer pops of pink, a look that carried over to the nails. One coat of Essie Sugar Daddy and top coat are all you need to get the look.

Two coats of Essie Limo-Scene and a layer of Good to Go left models good to go down the runway at Nellie Partow.

Two coats ofEssieBlanc plus one coat of Good to Go top coat allowed these whites to shine bright at Nanette Lepore.

A coat of Essie's After School Boy Blazer and top coat are all that's needed to replicate this runway look at Jill Stuart.  

Elizabeth and James designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen selected OPI's Passion for models’ nails and toes. This soft, sheer pink hue is extremely wearable and added a clean, polished touch.

Apply two coats of Essie Allure and a top coat to get your nails looking like those belonging to the models in the DVF show. 

Nails on hands were kept nude at Donna Karan with a coat of Essie‘s Mademoiselle and Matte About You.

The DKNY show was light and airy, with models wearing silk pastels. A sweet manicure consisting of a coat of Essie Limo-scene, Mademoiselle, and Good to Go added polish to every look.

Morgan Taylor Birthday Suitlayered with Matte's a Wrap created the perfect nail look for Catherine Malandrino. 

Carolina Herrera is known for delicate, feminine clothes, and this nude Morgan Taylor manicure in Heaven Sent fit the looks perfectly.

Models wore OPI's Barre My Soul on fingers and toes; this pale neutral shade features a warm pink undertone that complemented Candela’s semi-sheer, lacy and embellished garments.

Alon Livne chose China Glaze Inner Beauty for clean nails to match his collection.

Leave it to Essie to bring a tough edge to a soft palette by applying one coat of Matte About You over two coats of Sand Tropez at Alexander Wang..
