Are there any medications that affect how well acrylic nail extensions adhere to the nail?
I don’t know of any medications that affect how well acrylic nail enhancements adhere to the natural nail plate. Proper preparation of the nail and proper application technique are the most important factors in determining how well enhancements adhere. Nails that are dehydrated or peeling may result in lifting because the surface of the nail plate is more friable [likely to crumble]. Also, extensions that are excessively long are more likely to lift due to the lever effect. — Dr. Rich
