Q&A

How long do you cure CND Shellac polish in a 36-watt UV light if you don’t have a CND lamp?

Q.

How long do you cure CND Shellac polish in a 36-watt UV light if you don’t have a CND lamp?

A.

CND lamps are designed to give a proper cure to CND products. There isn’t a time that can be given for other lamps that will ensure a proper cure, as they haven’t been lab tested. LED lamps put out a higher concentration of UV in a more specific band so it would need to be the precise band Shellac products would need for curing. Don’t just take my word for it though! Visit dougschoon.com for scientific evidence and information on UV and LED lamps.
