Masterworks founder Amy Becker is happy to be back in the competition arena after a few years off.
Talk about bragging rights. Amy Becker has earned a spot on NAILS’ Top 25 Competitors list more times than anyone else in its history. And finally, for our 2010-2011 competition year, she’s snagged the top spot.
Amy demonstrates how to use her Masterpiece Gel Paints to create a unique 3-D gel nail art design. "By overloading your art brush with Masterpiece Gel Paint, you can create strings of gel to lay down in many designs for a more 3D effect. This works best with the light colors and is not recommended with the darker colors unless you plan on encasing them," Becker says.
Although Pennsylvania nail tech Amy Manker ate a healthy diet, her body had become weak due to lack of exercise and years of long hours spent sitting down. On the hunt for an exercise she didn’t loathe, she discovered cardio hooping, thanks to her daughter.
