Go From Summer to Fall With a Few of Elsbeth’s Faves

by Beth Livesay | July 28, 2014 | Bookmark +

Summer nail looks tend to scream color, while fall nails tend to be darker and less wild. For any nail tech who wonders how to transition your client from summer to fall, manicurist Elsbeth Schuetz has a few tips.

Schuetz suggests going “back to old school” for fall, using sheer pinks or peach tones from various French lines to return to clean and classy nails. Pale and powdery colors like Orly’s Flawless Flush and Naked Canvas can also make the seasonal transition soft and subtle. For clients who like to go bold in the summer, encourage them to take an equally bold approach for fall with alluring and dusty shades such as Patricia Nail Lacquer in Judgment or Wealth.
