NYFW: OPI For Jeremy Scott

by Beth Livesay | September 10, 2014 | Bookmark +

Designer Jeremy Scott is known for his colorful collections. The nails done by Miss Pop for OPI certaintly showcased the easy-going, fun-loving colorful looks Scott loves. Models (including the men!) donned OPI neon colors and Ridge-Filling base coat for an eclectic and cool mani. Miss Pop described the models as hippies or surfers who would be too busy slathering on suncreen and spending time in the sand to even bother with a top coat.

She and her team of eight techs used Life Gave Me Lemons, Juice Bar Hopping, Can't Find My Czechbook, That's Hot! Pink, and a Grape Fit to create the mismatched nails. The art was very easy, involving a technique of wiping the polish off the brush, staccato splatters, tribal stripes, and strokes. Miss Pop sees nail art and nail looks for men as the way of the future. Even three of the models sported this look on their toes as well.
