Why You Should Enter NAILS Next Top Nail Artist (at the Last Minute)

We’re back! And I have a very important announcement that I hope reaches you well. The deadline to enter Season 3 of NAILS Next Top Nail Artist is TOMORROW. But don’t panic! You have still have time to enter. And this list of reasons to enter just hit me like a half a ton of polish bottles.

Here are some tips on completing the NTNA application at the last-minute:

> Start with the video. Use your smartphone to record a three-minute video of yourself to answer the question: Why are you NAILS Next Top Nail Artist? Landscape (horizontal) is best. Three minutes go by quickly! You can download the YouTube Capture App for iPhones or the YouTube app for other smartphones and upload directly from your phone.

> Have ready 5-10 photos of your best nail art, showcasing all the amazing things you can do. So, your best acrylic, gel, and nail art photos will show judges you have a variety of talents. If you specialize in one thing (like handpainted nail art), make sure it’s your best work.

> Fill out every part of the application, and save yourself time by keeping your answers short, sweet, and to the point. There are two essay questions, and although it says “approx. 350” words, the point is to explain in detailed thought your passion about nail artistry and where you draw your inspiration. Don’t be afraid if your answers aren’t 300 words, as I know English isn’t everyone’s first language. The judges will take into account your whole application and your amazing nails, not just your essay answers.

> Type your longer answers (that you are keeping short and sweet) in your e-mail or a Word doc that has auto-save features, or one a file you can easily save. You don't want to run the risk of the page automaticaly refreshing which will wipe away your application answers.
