12 Days of Quick Tips Day 4: Invest Extra Holiday Cash in Education

by Holly Schippers | December 14, 2015

With preparations for the holiday’s entertainment, nail services are in more demand than usual. This in turn means we have the option to add additional days to our schedule, resulting in a flux of income. During the holiday season, some clients choose to tip more generously as a bonus of sorts. There are several options for spending this overflow, today I would like to suggest one of the two. Take part of the extra holiday income and invest it in next year’s education. Planning now while you have a little more to spend can make it easier to afford. My personal choice for this is to join the Nail Those Profits Cruise. The torch has been picked up by Nail Talk Radio so that the legacy of unbranded education may live on. The trip is slated for January of 2017, so you can use your holiday bonus to put a down payment on it, and then select monthly payment options. This makes a combination of a huge educational event and a vacation way easier to budget! To see the stops and the educators you can visit the website here

If you have a spare moment, let me know what education you will be budgeting for next year!

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
