We haven’t talked about a featured YouTube artist lately, so let’s check one out that could give you some additional coverage from #ISSELB. Her name is Ann Chang, and not only is she an educator with Kupa, she is personally working to bridge the divide and elevate the industry as a whole. Her instructional videos, as well as her artist interviews, are done in a combination of English and Vietnamese.

Her passion lies in making sure everyone who wants it has access to education. If we educate the industry as a whole, and raise our value together, there would be less sensational news about how bad salons are and more conversations about skills!

Ann’s channel is called The Nail Tips Show. She got some great artist interviews at the show and there are some tutorials available as well. Let’s support this new to YouTube artist in her quest to elevate the industry!

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

by Michele Baker

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
