I’m Entering the Gel-Polish Competition at Nailympia in Houston

by Holly Schippers | February 24, 2017

I’ve just purchased my registration to compete at the U.S. debut of Nailympia in Houston! The Best lil’ Nail Show Texas has the honor of being the first in the U.S. to host this prestigious global competition. Come compete with me!

I’ve entered the gel-polish category, which should be manageable for us all. It is a great reason to work on your skills and improve your timing and application — all while giving your clients bragging rights!

Can’t make the show yet curious about competing? Then you can join me on the NAILS Magazine Facebook page on competition day, Friday, March 31 at 2 p.m CST, as I broadcast via FB Live while competing. This means whether you decide to be a competitor or a cheerleader, we can all experience this together. Woohoo!

You can find more information on the competition here.

Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
