June 12, 2017 will be the anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy where 49 precious lives were lost. Premiere Orlando plans to remember the 49 and highlight four individuals who had been part of the beauty industry: salon owners Juan P. Rivera Velazquez, 3, and Luis Daniel Conde, 39; cosmetologist Brenda Lee Marquez-McCool, 49; and makeup artist Javier Jorge Reyes. Each impacted many lives through their creative talents. At the show, June 3-5, 2017, Premiere Orlando will be raising funds to create awareness and to support the local LGBTQ community.

“Our team believes in the positive impact the beauty industry has had on other sad occasions and we know that together we can make a memorable contribution as well as create awareness that we are all the same and we can make a difference in this world,” says Howard Britt, owner of Premiere Show Group.

Premiere Orlando participants will have the opportunity to purchase a unique show t-shirt that has been designed to showcase unity and solidarity. All the profits from the t-shirt sales will be donated to The Center, Orlando’s LGBTQ community center. T-shirts will be $10.00 and can be purchased inside Exhibit Hall C of the Premiere Orlando show. In addition, donations will be collected at designated locations throughout the show and Premiere Orlando will match 100% of the monies collected. All donations will go to The Center.
