Here I am with Amanda at Premiere Orlando in 2015.

Cancer is a deadly predator that truly does not discriminate and it has claimed yet another amazing nail professional. Those of you who had the pleasure of knowing Amanda Lenher know that she always had a brilliant smile and some mad nail skills. Her competition work never ceased to amaze me and she was happy to offer advice and help to others.

My heart goes out to her family for this staggering loss and I salute Amanda in her brave fight.  Recently Amanda did a fun nail tutorial for NAILS and I can’t imagine a better way to honor and remember her than sharing her work. When you do these nails in the salon I hope they bring you as much happiness as knowing Amanda has brought to me.

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
