Let Your Sparkle Show!

by Holly Schippers | December 4, 2017

I saw this cute little mug on Facebook over the weekend and wanted to share the image with all of you. This time of year can be very difficult for some. We miss those who have passed, we long for those who live far away, and there is more stress than glitter floating around everywhere.

With that in mind, I would ask that you don’t let anyone dull your sparkle. You are an amazing person with the gift of nails to give to the world and you make it a better place every time you go to work. Try to be positive even if someone around you is negative and be there for that client who has the holiday blues — but try not to absorb the emotion into yourself!  If the holiday blues are plaguing you personally, big hugs and chin up. We can all get through this!

Let your sparkle show — from the glitter all over your skin and clothes to the radiant beauty from inside that led you into a profession where you make people feel better about themselves.

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
