Gina Sylvestro is an industry powerhouse who puts her heart and soul into helping others. She and fellow nail professional Viv Simmonds created the group Crystal Culture. It was for doing education using Swarovski crystals. They were so successful that Swarovski took notice and have now used that business model to create official Swarovski-authorized nail art educators. As an educator for Crystal Culture, I was invited to update my training and become Swarovski authorized.

The North American headquarters for Swarovski is in Rhode Island. Seeing as this was my first visit to that part of the country outside of a layover, I took a couple of extra days to see some of the sights. The training was led by Gina herself and featured important information about Swarovski as a company, a brand, and an icon. You can become a Swarovski-Certified nail professional by attending one of the classes held around the US. To find one near you visit www.crystalbeautyacademy.com.
